I've joined everyone else in the modern age because even a Big Dumb Ape like me finally has his own blog. Well, that's not entirely true. I actually started this blog several months ago, but then something went completely screwy with it. So, I deleted everything and now I'll just restart it from scratch. Anyway, here's keeping my fingers crossed that this time around things in computerland will go a lot smoother.<br /></p><p>What is this place? <span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 102, 0);">HOT OFF THE VINE</span> is my of the Net where I can rant and rave about things as I see them. Over time I imagine I'll talk about a wide range of topics from the latest movie or TV show I saw, to something that caught my eye in the news, or just griping every Sunday during football season if the Miami Dolphins don't win. Then again, that's what happens when you get spoiled by the Dan Marino era, and you now expect them to have a winning record or at least to stage some ridiculous last minute comebacks like Dan always pulled off. I mean, come on, is is too much to ask for the Dolphins to freakin'--<br /></p><p>Wait, where was I again? Oh yeah, calling things like I see them.</p><p>And I will. But it's still just one Ape's opinion, and I consider myself to be a pretty nice guy. I'm fair and open-minded. Really! That means I enjoy hearing other opinions as well, whether I agree or not. So, I've left the comments section open. Of course, I still reserve the right to delete anything if someone uses foul language or they get too heated or personal. Here at <span style="color: rgb(0, 102, 0); font-weight: bold;">HOT OFF THE VINE</span> the rules are simple: so long as you're being civil, feel free to join in the fun. And I'll keep it that way unless this place starts to get flooded with spam.</p><p>Sheesh, I still can't believe that blog spam even exists. Seriously, who has the time to go running from blog to blog posting things like <span style="font-style: italic;">Get cheap prescription drugs here!</span> or <span style="font-style: italic;">Earn a degree at home!</span> Don't these people have lives?</p><p>So, to anyone who stumbled upon this blog and is reading it, thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll keep reading in the future!
